Inspirational and Motivational Writing
Here’s a camp for those whom want to enjoy the prestige and recognition of being a published writer and author. This course will teach how to write with power and precision—even if they are weak in grammar and/or spelling.
Camp Goals
At the end of the camp each student will:
1. Publish an Article
2. Create a Blog
3. Begin Journaling
4. Create a Plan for a Future Book
5. Qualify for Inclusion in a Published Book
This Camp Will Teach You How To:
· Identify topics and purposes for your writing that matter to you, your life, who you are, and who you might become.
· Create and maintain plans of your ideas and topics, that you’d like to experience and explore.
· Make your own decisions about what’s working and what needs more work in pieces of your writing.
· How to ask questions about writing in ways that help you move your writing forward.
· Realize professional publication.
· Establish relevant goals for yourself as a writer.
· Re-create happy times from your life, work through sad times, discover what you know about a subject and learn more, express love, show gratitude, and express frustration.
· Edit for publication.
I met Don Loyd at a writers and speakers group several years ago in Colorado. He was very generous in sharing with new writers his expertise in writing, publishing and marketing.
It is due to Don's encouragement, instruction and vast knowledge of the writing/marketing process, that I now have my first published book.
In addition to being a current member of my focus group, he is a great friend and giving teacher.
Most of all, Don is an encourager!
